About the company

Presvit d.o.o. (Ltd) is a family company that has developed from a trade workroom. In 1968 Emil Hvala decided to establish a private company although the circumstances were not in favour of private corporations. His business drive, a vision into development of private companies and a desire for creation were stronger than all obstacles he met along the way. Rivet production turned out to be the right choice and after two years of manufacturing rivets the production grew to such extent that new workshop hall needed to be built. In mid seventies the business moved to new premises and already had five employees.

The market dictated the offer and request for rivets and the production increased substantially. At the end of the eighties we had come to the conclusion to enlarge our business premises again, to purchase additional technological equipment and employ more workers.

In 1990 the company Presvit d.o.o. (Ltd) was established as soon as the circumstances allowed it.

Our manufacturing programme includes full and half hollow rivets made of iron, aluminium, copper, brass and stainless steel. Rivets can be made in thickness from one to ten millimetres. Rivets are made according to current DIN standards, by sketches, drawings and designs.

Besides rivets production our company offers services of reforming wires, e.g. wire of larger diameter can be reformed into smaller diameter. These services are being offered also to external customers.

Our rivets are sold above all to automobile and tool industry. They are also built in different kinds of household appliances, metal constructions, agricultural machines etc.

Most products are sold on the domestic market to larger companies, trading firms and permanent private customers. Rivets that are built in other products are being sold all over the world. About thirty percent of our production is being exported.

Customers and inquiry on the market demand constant modernising of production and adjustment to the market. We are trying to follow these changes and make our clients satisfied with quality products and quick delivery.
